Carlos started his career at Wiltshire Radio in 1982 and as a 16 year old was presenting a daily show before heading into school! Here he is on air in Wootton Bassett - playing records! 
It's April 1967 and Carl(os) makes his first public appearance at his own Christening. Carl was the only child of Elsie & Vernon and somewhat of a miracle as the proud parents were told they could never conceive. 
'Call Carlos' started in 1993 at BRMB in Birmingham. Callers fortunate enough to get their song aged received a 'Call Carlos' phonecard - highly sought after in pre-mobile days.

Carlos & The Breakfast Bunch on Northants 96 ruled the airwaves across the heart of England for 5 years from 1988. Carlos memorably presented the show from his bed, a balloon and from across the Atlantic in New York during his time on the breakfast show. 
Carlos' father took this picture in 1970. Carlos would play at being a disc jockey everyday and would frequently tell his parents that one day he'd be on the radio. This remains one of his most treasured pictures. 
When radio group GWR was formed in 1985 Carlos was part of the launch lineup and presented the first day of test transmissions.
